A TRUE FRIEND

Everybody in the world has a good, best, caring, lovely friend. And for each person the definition of friend is different. As for me, friend is someone who is cheerful and lighter up my life. She always there to help me when I really need some help. Like the proverbs, “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. We all need friends for companionship and for meaningful relationships. I thought that a person who has a wide circle of friends is indeed fortunate and never feel lonely or bored. The criteria that I considered in relationship are trustworthiness and dependability, and it wills the top of my list. A friend should be there to share my joys and sorrows, my good times and bad. Also, a good friend should be willing to listen to my problems and offer me good advice. She should encourage me when I feel down.

True friendship must be honesty. Friends should never hide the truth from each other. If I ever knew that a friend has lied to me, I would not trust her anymore. For me, a friend who praises me for my achievements, criticizes me when I have done something wrong and encourages me when I falter is an ideal friend. Friends should never be afraid to admit their mistakes and apologizes for them because everyone of us makes mistakes all the time but a person who is not afraid of admitting his mistakes shows that she is both honest and humble.

In my life, sometimes I felt lonely and in trouble but I’m lucky to have someone that I considered she as my best friend and true friend; NORLIZAWATI BINTI MOHD. SHARIFF who is I call her name Intan. Just a little bit about her; aged 22 years old, from Temerloh, Pahang, single, caring, kind and beautiful. She has a pair of beautiful eyes which is combination brown and green color. She’s the only one in her family and live with her mum because her father was died when she was two years old. Something special about Intan is her face looks like the NO. 1 famous artist in Malaysia, Siti Nurhaliza. Although, her life not as rich as Siti Nurhaliza, but she enjoys for it.

Our friendship was begun at primary school named Sek. Keb. Kerayong, Bera, Pahang. Lot’s of our memories created there such as involved in co-curricular vitae, went to school by bicycle together, fall in river and much more. Every single moment we shared together. But, when I and Intan entered the secondary school we have been separated. She studied at Sek. Men. Vokasional Putri, Mentakab while I at Sek. Men. (A) Al-Ihsan, Kuantan. About 5 years we not see each other cause of the distance. We just connected by phones and letters. Of course along the period we missed to see each other. Like the proverbs, “Absence makes the heart grows fonder” which means that when we don’t see someone for a long time, we become more fond of the person. I’ve remembered our favourite song, STAY THE SAME by  Joey McIntyre.

Luckily at year 2002, without I expected Intan was entered the same college with me, PAHANG ISLAMIC COLLEGE (KIPSAS). I’m so glad because our friendship getting closer and we can see each other daily. At KIPSAS, I and Intan have been roomate for two semesters. Many problems and stories we shared together. She always there whether I need a pep talk or to cry on. And she’s the one who gave me a spirit of life… “LIFE MUST GO ON” in whatever situation. She told me, “Don’t give up in study and always keep on trying”. Once failure is not means forever. Makes the real effort to achieve “ONCE IN A BLUE MOON”.

Now, Intan works at Subang as a teacher while I continued my study at KUIM. She always calls and send message to me despite she busy with her teaching, students and so on. I still remembered the phrase that she gave to me:

“Although we’ve been far apart for many years,

Our friendship is still very important to me.

We may not share the days, things anymore,

But we shared a history that distance cannot erase”.

For me, it is easy to make friends but good friends are not easy to come by. A friend who enjoys the moment while you are there but forgets you the minute you are “out of sight” is not a real friend. I value friendship that has no liar, no hypocrite and so on. And totally I hope my relation of friendship with Intan will be remains and ever lasting…that’s my wish!

        

lawatan ke cameron highlands

penatnye!!!Tuhan je tau…baru sampai dari c.highlands lewat petang tadi.kira nak masuk waktu maghrib la.bertolak pas kelas miss adzrah jumaat lepas.terkejar-kejar macam pe ntah…macam-macam shoping kat sana.sakan jugakla..banyak tempat yang saya lawati.antaranya cactus valley,strawberry farm,ladang teh,taman rama-rama dan lebah.banyak info yang saya dapat.kat sana saya dan rombongan lain menginap di asrama orang asli.seronok gak duk situ.pembinaan dan struktur asramanya unik dan menarik.saya juga pergi pasar malam di berinchang…pertama kali dalam hidup saya tahu ada buah nama cinta.rasa manis,sedapla…2hari kat sana merupakan pengalaman yang sangat menyeronokkan…harap dapat datang cameron lagi.insyaAllah!!!
